We are staying at the Grand Floridian and on our first nights stay we have reservations to Hoop Dee Do Review at Pioneer Hall. What would you say would be the best way to get there? Is there a boat we can take or do we need to take a bus/monorail?

    Hello, Michelle!

It sounds to me like you have the makings of a perfect day planned.  You have a couple of transportation options from Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa to Fort Wilderness.  For me, the most enjoyable route would be by boat.  Head to the boat dock at the Grand Floridian and hop aboard the water launch heading to Magic Kingdom Park.  Once at the Magic Kingdom, transfer to another launch marked for Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground.  Just to be on the safe side,  allow an hour and a half for your journey. The actual trip takes around 40 minutes, but you will have to account for potential wait time for the watercraft.  You might prefer to hop on the Disney Monorail for your journey.  One aboard, disembark at the Transportation & Ticket Center.  From there, head toward the buses and hop on one marked for Fort Wilderness.  That journey will take about the same amount of time as traveling by boat, and you should also allow an hour and a half for potential wait times for transportation.

    Enjoy your time at Hoop-Dee-Doo-Musical-Revue!

I wish you a truly magical vacation.
