We are staying at the Grand Floridian at the end of January with 2 kids- 5 and 8. What outer building is nearest the monorail station to minimize walking?

    Hi Gil,

One great thing about staying at the Grand Floridian is that even if you are staying in one of the farther buildings, it is still a short walk to the monorail station.  However, if you'd like to be as close as possible, Big Pine Key (ask to be on the side close to the Summer House) is quite close as well as Sago Key.  If you happen to have booked a concierge room outside of the main building, you'll be in Sugar Loaf Key, which is the closest building. You can also make a room request for "something near the main building."

Enjoy the resort -- it is truly grand!
