Hi Maite!
Great to see you here again at planDisney, thanks for stopping by! How wonderful that your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is fast approaching. A stay at
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is always very special, and private in-room dining plans for breakfast sound practically perfect in every way!
I’m so glad you asked this question, because I’m pleased to confirm that
private in-room dining (room service) is currently ONLY available at Disney’s flagship resort, the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa! This special dining service was halted during the COVID-19 pandemic and is slowly returning to the Walt Disney World Resort, but currently only available here.
I spoke with an excellent Cast Member at the resort who shared that you will find the menu for in-room dining available inside your gorgeous guest room upon arrival. There is a Quick Response Code (QR Code) printed on the menu. Scan this with your mobile device, and it will enable you to order whatever your heart desires! You also enter payment information this way for the order. I’m told that you can only order that meal during its set times (breakfast begins at 7:00 A.M.) so unfortunately you aren’t able to pre-order your breakfast the evening before. Please do inquire once you arrive at the Grand Floridian to see if there are any additional services or other ways to pre-order your breakfast delivery. Private in-room dining hours for March and April 2023 are 7:00 A.M. until 12:00 A.M. daily.
This
breakfast menu looks so delicious, Maite! From custom rise-n-shine cocktails to Mickey-shaped waffles, they seem to have it all. I appreciate that both sweet and savory items are available, as well as kids' meals sized just-right to fuel an adventurous theme park day. Your room has a beverage cooler as a standard amenity, so any leftovers can be kept safely awaiting your return. Breakfast on your balcony overlooking the gorgeous grounds of this resort or across Seven Seas Lagoon will be such a relaxing start to your day! In
Alice in Wonderland, Alice says “I’ve believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast,” and I think with this dreamy set-up you’ll also be believing that anything is possible on your Disney day!
Please know that the
walkway to Magic Kingdom Park is currently closed and will re-open later this spring. Boat and Monorail transportation remains available and begins running at 7:00 A.M. in both March and April 2023.
I hope this helps you envision a delicious start to a magical day at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. Please let me know if you have any other questions as you finalize your special vacation.
Wishing you a GRAND stay,
Amy
