Staying at the Grand Floridian and we have breakfast reservations at Cape May Cafe. What is the easiest way to get there. Is it possible to take the monorail to Epcot and walk from the outside to the Beach Club? Epcot would not be open yet.

    Shanna:

I like your ingenuity on taking the monorail, but if you take it to Epcot, you'll be at the front of the park, not the back near the International Gateway and where the Beach Club is located.

In my opinion, I think you should ride the monorail--but to Magic Kingdom.  From there, take a bus to the Beach Club, as buses begin running anywhere from 1 to 1 1/2 hour before park opening.  However, with that said, I always recommend that you tell the cast member at resort check-in about your breakfast reservation and ask them how best to get there.  Transportation does vary from resort to resort, and they will know what will be running and will make sure that you get to breakfast before the coffee gets cold!

    Wishing you a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
