Staying at the Grand Floridian. We have breakfast reservations at Cape May Cafe? We won't want to take the bus there because of how long the trip would be. How else can we get to the Beach Club - car service for rent?

    Hi Alyssa!

You have a few options to get to Cape May Cafe for breakfast from Disney's Grand Floridian Resort.

The first option is indeed by bus via Hollywood Studios. The bus trip actually isn't a bad one at all as the Grand Floridian is the last stop before the bus heads directly to Disney's Hollywood Studios, about a 15 minute ride. From there, you'd need to board a Friendship Boat, riding it 2 stops or about 10 minutes to Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resorts' marina.

Alternatively, you are certainly able to take a taxi service directly to Disney's Beach Club Resort. Simply proceed out the main lobby doors and advise a Concierge Cast Member that you'd like a taxi for your family directly to Beach Club.

If you decide to go by bus and boat, budget 60 minutes total of travel time to allow yourselves to arrive the recommended 15 minutes early for check in at Cape May Cafe.

If traveling by taxi, be sure to head out of the lobby about 45 minutes prior to your reservation time.

Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel. I welcome you to return again soon with more great questions.
Wishing you a simply Magical time on your Walt Disney World vacation Alyssa!
