Staying at grand floridan ..renting a scooter from outside Not in disney how do I get to Hollywood studios. Can't do the bus

Hello there, Janice! Welcome to planDisney! We appreciate you taking the time to reach out and allowing us to help you plan your visit to Walt Disney World Resort!

One of my personal favorite parts of visiting Walt Disney World Resort is the level of accessibility found across the property! There are so many different options including services and accommodations for Guests with disabilities, it truly does make every Guest’s vacation absolutely magical!

One option that many Guests take advantage of is wheelchair or Electrical Conveyance Vehicle (ECV) rentals. Guests may rent either of these devices from all four theme parks, both water parks, and Disney Springs for the day or the length of their stay. If a Guest needs to use a device outside of these locations, I would recommend renting from the Disney Feature Provider, ScooterBug. This private mobility rental company rents out a variety of devices and is able to deliver directly to your Disney Resort hotel!

When staying at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, the best way to get to Disney’s Hollywood Studios is via Bus Transportation. Guests that use mobility devices, including ECVs or scooters, will have no problem using Bus Transportation since every vehicle is fully accessible! Personally, this makes utilizing this mode of transportation incredibly easy for my own family and I highly recommend it for others with mobility disabilities!

If you would prefer to use a ride share service, there are wheelchair-accessible vehicles available through many popular providers! It is important to keep in mind that these vehicles must be reserved by calling the rideshare service directly as options are limited through smartphone apps.

Best of luck as you continue to plan for your vacation to Walt Disney World Resort this November! Be sure to let us know if we can answer any additional questions for you!
