We're staying at Grand Californian for our 9th wedding anniversary, which coincides with Disneyland After Dark's Pride Night. Is there someone specific I should reach out to about our anniversary to see if they'll do anything special? Thanks.

    Hiya, Natalie!

Welcome Home and welcome to planDisney! How wonderful you will be celebrating your ninth wedding anniversary on your upcoming stay at Disney's Grand Californian Resort and Spa.  What better way to celebrate at the Happiest Place On Earth with your happily ever after?

Natalie, if you have already purchased your tickets for Disneyland After Dark: Pride Night, you are in for a real treat.  You will enjoy:
    • Early Admission to Disneyland Park beginning at 6:00 PM
    • Rivers of America Dance Party
    • Pride Cavalcade
    • Ohana Dance Party
    • Character Experiences
    • Fun Photo Ops with Disney PhotoPass photographers
    • After-Hours Access to Attractions
    • Themed Treats and Snacks
    • Party Keepsakes
    • Delicious Dining Package at Cafe Orleans (please note this requires a Disney After Dark: Pride Night valid admission ticket and is not included in the price, and requires a reservation.)
The event itself will be quite a celebration, but to inquire if there is anything extra special that can be done, I recommend calling Guest Services.  If you book the dining package at Cafe Orleans, they may be able to do something special for you, like a special dessert, if available.

Other ways I recommend celebrating your special anniversary include letting Guest Services or the Front Desk know when you check in that it is your anniversary. They may give you a Celebration Button that lets other Cast Members know you are celebrating something. Sometimes (not always) you may be treated to a surprise or special dessert at a restaurant, at the discretion of the restaurant.

You could do something special to commemorate this event, like book a lovely dining reservation at the Napa Rose restaurant in your hotel.  Perhaps you want to enjoy an Enchanting Extra like the Disneyland Park VIP Tour, grab as many PhotoPass sessions as you can to capture the memory or even purchase matching Ears to commemorate your important celebration. You can also order an In-Room Celebration to really make this day special.

I hope this helps you, Natalie. If you have any further Disney vacation planning questions, stop back and see me because you've got a friend in me!

    See ya real soon!
