Hi! We are staying at the Grand Californian soon. Do you know if you’re allowed to bring a snorkel and/or flippers into the pools? Thank you.

Hiya, Susan, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I am SO thrilled that your Disneyland Resort vacation is almost here! You are going to make tons of magical memories in just a few short days. The three pools at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa offer a little something for everyone. My kids can’t get enough of the Redwood Pool, with its 90-foot-long waterslide that curves around the stump of a Redwood tree! The Mickey-Mouse shaped Children’s Pool nearby is perfect for younger Mouseketeers who want to join in the fun in a safer environment. When it comes to pool accessories, Guests are welcome to bring a snorkel or goggles, but no fins are allowed in the pools for the safety of all Guests. So, you can add your snorkels to your packing list!

There’s so much to see and do at the Disneyland Resort theme parks right now! Be sure to check out all the Get Your Ears On – A Mickey and Minnie Celebration fun inside Disneyland Park. From specially-themed treats and merchandise to the new nighttime spectacular, Mickey’s Mix Magic, there’s a little something for everyone. If you can’t get enough of delicious food and beverages, you won’t want to miss the 2019 Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival, found inside Disney California Adventure Park. In addition to tasty eats at the Festival Marketplace Kiosks, look for exciting culinary demonstrations and fun for the kids at Jr. Chef with Chef Goofy!

Wishing you a pixie-dusted vacation to the Happiest Place on Earth!

Meet the Panelist: Kristin, California

Greetings from sunny California! I live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder (and now a Magic Key Passholder) for more than 20 years! As a mom of three kids ages 5-10, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! Learn More About Kristin
