We are staying at Grand Californian, we want to request either a crib or a pack and play for our baby. But I’m wondering which one has the bigger sleeping surface? I know some cribs tend to be the mini cribs. So is the crib a full size? Thanks so much

Hey there, hi there, Lidiya! We are so happy to see you stop by again with another great question for us. Welcome back to planDisney!

I am so excited to see you will be nestling up at the Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa during your stay next week. Now that it's officially fall and the holidays are just around the corner, the cozy vibes of this resort hotel just make sense. I stayed there last month, and despite it being quite warm weather, I didn't miss a chance to take some time in the lobby near the fire. Of course, the real magic of staying at one of the Disneyland Resort Hotels is the lovely Cast Members who are always so attentive and the real magic makers. Speaking of Cast Members, I just called the Grand Californian and they shared with me that both Pack 'n Plays and cribs are available upon request and subject to availability. Furthermore, the cribs are full-size cribs, not mini cribs, and have a metal frame. Therefore, it sounds like the crib will be your best option if you are looking for the biggest sleeping surface for your Mouseketeer!

I recommend trying out the Direct-to-Room Service, which allows you to check in up to 5 days before your arrival. Usually, during this process, you can add requests. If there isn't a spot to add that request, you can also call in ahead of time to add this request to your reservation. I love the Direct-to-Room feature because I usually arrive and like to get right into the magic right away. This means if I arrive early before check-in, I can drop my bags with Bell Services, head right into the parks, and wait for the notification that my room is ready by checking my reservation in the Disneyland app

Lidiya, the magic is waiting! I hope you and your family have a wonderful visit!
