Welcome to planDisney!

You’re going to have the most amazing stay at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. This is my favorite Disney hotel and I just came back from the most amazing stay. I always recommend making some time during your trip to enjoy the pools that are available to hotel guests. Lunch poolside is such a treat and my two favorite things to order from the poolside menu are the Club Sandwich and Poke Bowl. If you have little Mouseketeers there’s a pool party mid-day with fun games and special character appearances. Make sure you check the schedule once you're there so you don’t miss out.

As you mentioned, Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa does have a direct entrance into one of the theme parks. It is directly connected to Disney California Adventure Park but unfortunately, there is no hotel that has direct access to Disneyland Park. If you’re only planning to visit Disneyland Park, you’ll have easy access to the Downtown Disney District from Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa and then you’ll use the main entrance in the Esplanade to get into the park.
