Hi, we're staying at the Grand Californian and have park tickets included in the package. Our e-package will be available on 15 April. Do we need to reserve entry to the park or are the tickets automatically valid for our reservation days?

Hello there, Nikki. A warm welcome from us at planDisney and thank you for stopping by with your question. Oh boy! Your visit to the Disneyland Resort will be here before you know it and I'm happy to help make sure you're all set with your plans.

I'm so excited about your upcoming stay at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. This is such a beautiful hotel and the best part is there's an entrance with direct access to Disney California Adventure Park. I love staying here because you are right in the middle of the magic with the hotel nestled within Disney California Adventure Park.

Theme park reservations can be made up to 120 days in advance of your visit and I strongly recommend making them as soon as possible to ensure you can visit on your desired days. You can check to see if you already have theme park reservations by logging into your Disney account and heading to "My Plans" under the heading of "My Disneyland" towards the top right of the Disneyland site. Here you will be able to see any hotel reservations as well as any theme park reservations that you have. If you don't see any theme park reservations here, no worries. You can easily navigate to the page where you're able to do this. Under the heading "My Disneyland," navigate to "My Hotel Reservations" where you should find your vacation package details. If your vacation package is not here, you can easily link it by entering your vacation package confirmation number. Once this is complete, you should then see a link that will allow you to make your theme park reservations.

And that's it, once you have your theme park reservations, let the countdown begin. You are also within the window where you're able to make dining reservations. You can start making dining reservations up to 60 days in advance. One of my favorite places to reserve time at is Carnation Cafe in Disneyland Park on Main Street, U.S.A. - the fried pickles are my favorite. If you're not able to find any dining reservations, there are plenty of quick service options as well. With many of the quick service options, you have the ability to use the mobile food and beverage ordering feature in the Disneyland app. I love using this to minimize the time I'm waiting in line. The Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival will also be happening during your visit and I highly recommend checking out all of the delicious eats.

I hope this has been helpful Nikki. If you have other questions as you continue to plan and get closer to your visit, please come back to ask us - even write me directly. I wish you happy planning and a most magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!

    See ya real soon,
