Hello! We’re staying at the Grand Californian in Oct . Do we get to purchase Oogie Boogie tickets like the Magic Keyholders ? Or do we have to wait until the General public tickets open up ? Thank you ! Julie

Well, well, well! What have we here?! Julie has made their way to planDisney for our help getting to the Oogie Boogie Bash. You have come to the right place! I am happy to share some tips and tricks for one of the hottest parties in town.

Magic Key holders will be some of the first guests to have the opportunity to purchase tickets. Those who are Inspire Key holders will be able to purchase presale tickets starting June 24, 2025. Presale for Inspire, Believe, Enchant, and Imagine Key holders starts on June 25, 2025. General admission tickets go on sale June 26, 2025. Unfortunately, that includes guests staying at any of the Disneyland Resort hotels. But don’t let that get you down—I have some tips to help you get the tickets you desire.

Tip #1 – Set an alarm. The waiting room to purchase tickets will open at approximately 8:45 AM Pacific Time. Depending on what part of Idaho you live in, you're in a different time zone, so it’s even more important to get your times right.

Tip #2 – Use multiple devices and have multiple people attempting to purchase tickets. Purchasing tickets is a team event! When I went to the Oogie Boogie Bash a couple of years ago, everyone in my party was trying to secure our tickets. We each were on three different devices (tablet, phone, and computer). Once one of us got through, the rest exited the ticket queue.

Tip #3 – Be flexible with your dates and have options. The first Bash takes place on August 17 and continues on select dates in August, September, and October. If you have any flexibility with your travel plans, it will increase your chances of getting tickets. Based on your vacation dates, you could try for October 26 or October 28.

Julie, I hope this was helpful information. Be sure to keep your eye on the Disney Parks Blog for the Foodie Guide to the Halloween Time celebrations. If you have any more questions or need help planning other aspects of your trip, feel free to reach out to me or one of my fellow planDisney panelists. We are happy to add good mischief to your Halloween adventure.

    Best of luck!
