We are staying at the Grand Californian for 2 nights and plan to visit the park for 1 day. I have an AP but will be buying tickets for my kids. If I buy online, can we redeem the tickets at the special DCA entry point instead of going to a ticket booth?

Hi, Jennifer, and thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I always love helping my fellow Californians plan their pixie-dusted getaways to the Disneyland Resort! Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is a magical place to call home for your two-night stay. I’m happy to let you know that, as hotel guests, you can redeem your children's valid Theme Park Tickets at the special entrance to Disney California Adventure Park.

I love the convenience of this access point! It’s especially helpful for families with children who may need to take a break every now and then. Plus, depending on the timing of your visit, making a splash is always a good idea – my kids and I love the Grand Californian's themed pools and 90-foot-long waterslide!

Staying at the Grand Californian also gives you easy access to the Downtown Disney District. Choose from delicious dining, shopping, and entertainment experiences, all just a few steps away! You won’t want to miss the newly-opened Salt & Straw for scrumptious handmade ice cream, Splitsville Luxury Lanes for a family bowling battle, and my favorite, The Disney Dress Shop, home to the most beautiful Disney-inspired vintage apparel and accessories!

If you have any additional questions as you continue planning your upcoming getaway, I’m all EARS!

    See ya’ real soon!
