We are staying at Grand Californian in June. Someone in our party has a medication that requires a freezer. Is there any place on property that we can store the medication? Thanks!

Hi there, Carolyn, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m so glad you’re hEAR!

You’re going to love staying at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa this summer! It’s my favorite place to relax and unwind between magical days spent in the theme parks of the Disneyland Resort. You’ll notice that the mini-fridge in your Guest room doesn’t have a freezer section. But, not to worry! I checked with a Cast Member, and am happy to report that the medication can be kept at the Bell Desk – they have access to a freezer you can store the medicine in. I hope this will work alright for the Guest in your party. You can just let the Cast Member know about your need at check-in, and they'll get you all set up with the freezer.

There are so many new and exciting things to look forward to at the Disneyland Resort this year, Carolyn! We just welcomed a brand new, out-of-this-world attraction in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, called Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, and it’s the most unique, epic attraction I’ve had the chance to experience! Next week, we welcome the brand-new “Magic Happens”’ Parade, which will be Disneyland Park’s first new daytime parade in nearly a decade! Then, this summer, we’re looking forward to the opening of Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure Park. Talk about a busy, but very exciting year!

Please stop by with any additional planning questions, Carolyn… I’m all EARs!

Greetings from sunny California! I live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder (and now a Magic Key Passholder) for more than 20 years! As a mom of three kids ages 5-10, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! Learn More About Kristin
