Boy oh boy, am I excited for your stay at
Disney's Grand Californian Hotel! You've chosen my favorite Disneyland Resort Hotel. The lobby is beautiful and almost feels like an attraction all on its own. During a visit last week, I spent some time relaxing in a rocking chair by the grand fireplace, soaking in the atmosphere. I'm such a fan of the hotel that when I had the opportunity to purchase a couple of framed orange crate label prints that once hung there, I jumped at the chance. They now have a special place in my home!
As for the new
Lightning Lane benefit, Guests staying at a Disneyland Resort Hotel receive one complimentary Lightning Lane entry per person, per stay. That means you'll receive one Lightning Lane entry to use during your stay, not one for each day of your visit.
I had the opportunity to take advantage of this benefit during my recent stay while visiting Disney California Adventure Park for
Oogie Boogie Bash. We entered the park before the party began and used our complimentary Lightning Lane entry for a quick ride on Incredicoaster. It was a fantastic way to kick off the evening!
One thing I especially appreciate is how well this benefit pairs with
Lightning Lane Multi Pass. Since the hotel Lightning Lane entry doesn't require you to reserve a return time, you can use it on an eligible attraction whenever it works best for your plans. While you're waiting for your next Multi Pass return window, you can zip over to another attraction using your hotel benefit and keep the magic moving!
