We are staying at the Grand CA hotel in December and planned to have character dining at Donald Duck Seaside breakfast. I am curious to know the best way to get there and approx how long the walk is. We have 2 six year olds walking with us. Thanks!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Toni!

Yay! You will absolutely ADORE staying at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. The hotel itself is just stunning but the location and proximity to the parks simply can’t be beat. This includes the convenience of getting to Donald Duck’s Seaside Breakfast at Disney’s PCH Grill. You will head out the main entrance of your hotel and turn left to follow the sidewalk that will take you alongside the hotel and eventually to the stoplight at Disneyland Drive. Cross the street and turn left and you will be at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel where Disney’s PCH Grill is located on the main level. The walk should take you no more than five minutes or so.

If you plan to enjoy the parks after your breakfast, you have two different options. You can head back the same way you came, but note that this is only an option for Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa Guests and you will need to show your room key in order to go back this way. Or to change it up, you could exit out the back of Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel, turn right, and follow the path to the Downtown Disney District. From there, you can stroll on down to the parks or hop aboard the Disneyland Monorail to be whisked away to Tomorrowland in Disneyland Park. Use the Disneyland app’s map view to help you navigate during your visit.

I hope this helps. Please stop by again if you have any other questions about your stay at the Disneyland Resort!
