I am staying at a good neighbor hotel for our week vacation to Disneyland, are we allowed to swim at other hotel pools on property? Also, can I make a special birthday dinner reservation at one of the on property hotel restaurants?

    Dear Kerie,
As you probably know by now, Good Neighbor Hotels are Disney-approved quality hotels, generally located at close proximity to the Disneyland Resort. In my experience, many Good Neighbor Hotels have pools and other amenities to make a guest's experience as comfortable as possible.
As a general rule, only guests staying at a Disneyland Resort Hotel can use the pool(s) at their hotel. This means that even if you were staying on-site, you would not be able to enjoy resort pools other than the one(s) at your booked Disneyland Resort Hotel.
In terms of a birthday celebration, there are many unique experiences you can choose from.
One option is to make a breakfast reservation at the Plaza Inn inside the Disneyland Park and celebrate with Minnie & Friends. The characters will come to your table and join for the "Happy Birthday" song if they happen to be around. You can also book an amazing dinner at one of the many Disneyland Resort restaurants and have a Celebration cake delivered there in time for your reservation. In order to do this, you must call (714) 781-DINE.
    I hope this helps.
Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I hope you enjoy your trip and have a Magical Time!
