Hi Brieanne,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question!
One of the great new perks of staying at a
Walt Disney World Good Neighbor Hotel is the fact that
Extra Magic Hours are now included for Guests at select hotels. From what I understand, reservations at most of these hotels can’t be linked to
My Disney Experience, though you’re absolutely welcome to go ahead and try to see whether your hotel reservation can be linked to your account. That would be the easiest way to ensure your access to this entitlement because then the information would presumably be coded onto your
MagicBand or admission card, which will then be scanned at the entrance to any attractions or dining locations that you may choose to visit during Extra Magic Hours.
If your reservation can’t be linked to your My Disney Experience account, what I’d recommend instead would be to have a copy of your hotel confirmation email on your phone (the one you got when you made the reservation), as well as a copy of your room key handy. Based on my experience, that should be enough to prove that you’re entitled to enjoy Extra Magic Hours. That being said, because policies and procedures are subject to change at any time, I highly recommend that you speak to your hotel’s Concierge or Disney Ticket Desk for more concrete information about how the entitlement to Extra Magic Hours works for your hotel.
I hope my answer helps you plan a wonderful vacation. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
