Hi! I will be staying at a good neighbor hotel and am looking at making reservations for breakfast at the Plaza Inn. If the reservation is before the park opens how would we get in? We only have a one day ticket so no magic morning access. Thanks!

Hi there, Tori! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. A breakfast reservation at the Disneyland Resort is the perfect way to start your day!

If you have a dining reservation before the scheduled opening of Disneyland Park, you can enter the park with valid theme park admission even if you do not have access to Magic Morning or Extra Magic Hour. There are two different ways I've been advised to accomplish this:

    1. Go to one of the Guest Services booths located outside of the parks and inform the Cast Member that you have an early reservation. They will check the list of breakfast dining reservations and help you gain entry into the park. Be sure to have your valid theme park tickets as well as your dining reservation confirmation.
    2. Go to the main gates of the park and look for a Cast Member with a sign for breakfast reservations, usually off to one side. If the turnstiles are open early, enter the park and either ask the Cast Member scanning your ticket where to go or look for a cast member just inside the main entrance. You will check in with your dining reservation confirmation and be escorted to the restaurant.
Minnie & Friends – Breakfast in the Park at the Plaza Inn is one of my favorite places to have breakfast at the Disneyland Resort. The buffet offers a wide selection of food and the character interaction simply can't be beat! Dining reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance online or by calling (714) 781-3463. I would recommend calling as soon as you are able since this is a popular dining option.

    Have a wonderful week!
