I am staying at a good neighbor hotel in Disneyland (Hilton). Can I walk to the toy story lot and catch the shuttle? I heard it's free but i'm not quite sure IF that is correct. Thank you

    Hello Yvette!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It’s so fun to be planning a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth!

I see you’re staying at a Disneyland Good Neighbor Hotel. If you’re staying at the Hilton at the Convention Center, then you’re pretty close to all the fun. The Toy Story Parking Lot is across the street from the Hilton and does have pedestrian access. There is nothing that would stop you from walking over and hopping on the shuttle. It's about a 9-10 minute walk from the Hilton and then you would still have to wait for a shuttle. It’s not something I would recommend you do unless you have a mobility issue and a shuttle would make it easier for you even if longer. I’d recommend that you just walk to the Disneyland Resort. I’ve stayed at the Hilton at the Convention Center and we walked to the parks. We timed it on our phones and it was 18 minutes, walking at a normal pace.

When you get to the Disneyland Resort, the new daytime parade “Magic Happens” will be in full swing. Make sure you put it on your plans of must dos! Mickey Mouse will lead the parade followed by his pals from all your favorite Disney stories. There hasn’t been a new daytime parade in almost 10 years, so you know it’s going to be amazing! Also, the 2020 Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival will be going on during your visit. It’s one of my favorite festivals of the year and you won’t want to miss it.

Well Yvette, I hope your trip the Disneyland Resort is filled with love, laughter, and Pixie Dust.

Remember, always believe in the magic!
