Hi Shannon,
It's nice to see you planning Disney at planDisney again. There's nothing quite like experiencing the magic of the holidays at Walt Disney World Resort.
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a great way to experience the merriment of Magic Kingdom Park with smaller crowds and exclusive entertainment offerings like Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade. My family makes our party day a resort day; we lounge by the pool and enjoy a table service lunch, which preserves our energy for a night of festive fun.
Good Neighbor Hotels offer some great benefits like
early theme park entry, which gets you into any theme park 30 minutes before the
official park opening each day. Unfortunately, a reservation at a Good Neighbor Hotel does not allow you to make advance dining reservations for your entire length of stay 60 days in advance; that perk is exclusively for Guests staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel and other select resorts such as Shades of Green and Walt Disney World Swan/Dolphin/Swan Reserve.
I know this is not the news you hoped for, Shannon, but I can assure you there will be plenty of reservations to choose from 60 days in advance. If you find availability for a certain restaurant or dining experience is not available, just keep checking. My panelist pal
Cindy recently reported that there were many same-day reservations available for popular restaurants like
'Ohana and even
Cinderella's Royal Table.
Please return to planDisney with any other trip-planning questions.
Choose magic,
Jennifer
