Hi Sandra,
You are going to LOVE Give Kids The World Village (GKTW). It is AMAZING!
Handicapped Parking is available at all of the theme parks & you should be fine using your permit from UK. Also, be sure to ask the people at GKTW if they have some sort of special parking arrangements for you at the parks. If not, be sure you display your UK handicapped permit from the rearview mirror of your car. Once you go through the parking plaza, follow the blue line painted on the pavement. A Cast Member will also direct you once you're in the parking lot. The handicapped parking spaces are located near the front of each theme park with the exception of the Magic Kingdom where parking is near the Ticket & Transportation Center (TTC). From there, you will need to take the monorail or ferry boat to the Magic Kingdom - both of which are handicapped accessible.
The current fee for parking is $14.00 per day (please keep in mind that is subject to change at anytime without notice). The fee also applies to Guests with handicapped parking permits. Again, be sure to check with GKTW about any special arrangements they have. Once you've paid the fee for the day, you are allowed to come and go to as many parks as you'd like during that day without be required to pay the parking fee again.
I know you didn't ask about this but there are
First Aid Stations located at all of the theme parks and water parks. If for any reason your son/daughter needs a break, they are welcome to take a break there. In fact, they have a private lounge just for Make-A-Wish & Give Kids The World families. They are happy to assist you with any needs.
Wishing you many magical memories :-) Allison
