Staying at G.F.with 2 kids (7 &3) & VERY excited. Which room should I request (would like to be close to pool/beach but also would like to see MK as well - is this even possible?)? How is pool/beach at G.F.? Thks for great advice!

I absolutely adore the Grand Floridian!  I am assuming you have booked a Magic Kingdom view which will guarantee that you are able to view the castle & fireworks.  So as long as you've done that you'll have a great room and not have to worry about requesting a specific room.

To have a building that is close to the pool, I'd encourage you to request  Big Pine Key which is right next to the quiet pool and just a short walk from the main pool/building; it also has Magic Kingdom views.  Another building that would work for you is Boca Chica which is right next to Big Pine Key, so it too is next to the quiet pool with a slightly longer walk to the main pool.

Both of the pools are wonderful at the resort, but we enjoy the main pool the best with its zero entry, water slide, views, and access to the beach.  Very kid friendly!!
