    Staying at GFR. What is quickest way to get to MBBBQ at FWR? Is there a water taxi available?

    Laurie:

    The quickest way to get to Fort Wilderness is to take the monorail from the Grand Floridian (a 5-minute ride) to the Magic Kingdom and then to get on the ferry in front of the park to Fort Wilderness. The water taxi that services The Grand Floridian goes to The Polynesian and to the Magic Kingdom not to Fort Wilderness. To return to the Grand Floridian, however, I would suggest taking the ferry from Fort Wilderness to the Contemporary (10-minute ride) and then walking inside the hotel to get on the monorail to continue back to your hotel.
