Staying at GF with 3 yr old twin boys and 18 month old next month. Our character and casual dinner plans are set & now just need to fill in a few nights. Are the 'fine dining' restaurants like Citricos appropriate for an early dinner with kids our ages

    Hi Heather:

I'm a parent of two young boys who have been traveling to Disney World since they were infants, and we appreciate Disney World's finer dining.  Unless you think your children will have a massively hard time sitting still for an hour or so, all of Disney World's restaurants are accommodating to children, save for the formal Victoria and Albert's restaurant.  My children have enjoyed meals at Jiko, Yachtsman Steakhouse, Coral Reef, Le Cellier, Artists Point, California Grill and more without incident and without funny looks.  You'll likely notice other families dining at these restaurants too, particularly at early dining times.

Thankfully, many Disney World table service restaurants have crayons and small paper booklets with games and activities to help keep kids entertained. Also, Disney World is used to dealing with families, so service is top-notch and food tends to be prepared relatively quickly with not too much waiting around time.

    Enjoy your visit.
