Staying at GF 12/10-17/11, we used pin code and decided later we wanted theme park view but none were available, what is likelihood of being upgraded to theme park view if we request when we check in? Is this ever done at no charge?

    Hi Patti,

If there are park view rooms available they will upgrade your room upon request when you arrive.  Disney tries to satisfy all requests whenever possible.  I'm not sure whether or not there will be a charge involved.

That being said, park view rooms at The Grand Floridian are the first to be booked.  The time of year you are visiting is extremely popular.  I'm not sure how lucky you'll get.  This is Disney though, and magic does abound!  Ask when you get there.  You might find that you picked up some pixie dust along your travels.

Good luck on the upgrade.  Have a magical time!

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
