    Staying at GF & taking bus to HS for brkfst . Who shares buses with GF? How long should I plan for bus? Is there a faster way? 1st visit staying near MK & not sure if monorail is more appropriate to use & transfer to bus else where. Thanks for

    Hi, Terese!

    I'm thrilled to hear that you've got an upcoming stay at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa! This location is truly one of my very favorites in all of Walt Disney World!

    The buses at this exquisite Resort are not shared with any other location, so your quickest way to get from there to any of the Theme Parks (with the exception of taking the monorail to get to Magic Kingdom Park) and Downtown Disney is going to be taking a Disney bus. You will love the convenience of being able to just hop on the monorail from your Resort to get over to Magic Kingdom Park too. You can also change monorails at the Transportation and Ticket Center and ride the monorail to Epcot! I would be faster to take a bus from your Resort directly to Epcot, but the monorail ride is fun too!

    I typically advise Guests to allow 90-minutes for transportation when you are trying to make it to a specific reservation that you may have. It's important to add time in if you have to wait for a bus or monorail. You also want to consider the time it takes to walk from the Park entrance to your dining location within the Park. If you take the bus from Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa directly to Disney's Hollywood Studios, the actual bus ride is only approximately 18-minutes.
