Well, hello there, Jana! I have to admit I did a double-take when I read your question. The number of people with whom I share a name is pretty small. It's nice to meet you here at planDisney!
In addition to sharing a name I love, you are also headed to
Walt Disney World Resort at my favorite time of the year. With a theme park view from
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, I hope your trip overlaps with
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. If you are not partying with the Ghost Host and ghouls, you will have an amazing view of Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular.
I've
checked the calendar and it currently is only posted through the very beginning of September. There are
Extended Evening Hours scheduled for Magic Kingdom Park on the first Wednesday, September 4. There may be more, so I suggest keeping an eye on this calendar as your trip gets closer.
During the Extended Evening Hours, with your stay at the Grand Floridian, you are welcome to enter the park at any time with your valid theme park admission. During these extended hours, you will need to keep your MagicBand+, Disney MagicMobile pass or Key to the World card handy, as Cast Members will scan to verify your eligibility as you enjoy attractions in the park. You will also have the chance to try for a
Virtual Queue for TRON Lifecycle / Run at 6 p.m.
I do hope you take advantage of the extra-hours opportunity. The crowds are lighter crowds, so you can enjoy a lot of attractions, and there is something extra magical about the Magic Kingdom at night.
If you have any other questions as you plan your time at Walt Disney World Resort, please come back by
planDisney. We are always happy to see you here!
Wishing Happiness from one
Jana to another. Cheers!
Jana
