Hi Sarah,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is one of my favorite places to stay when visiting the Walt Disney World Resort. The Resort is on the Monorail giving you access to Magic Kingdom Park and Epcot without having to use Disney Bus Transportation. You can even walk or take a Water Taxi to Disney's Hollywood Studios from the Epcot area further adding to the convenience of a Monorail Resort Hotel.
Club Level Concierge at Walt Disney World Deluxe Resorts is a great way to add some extra pixie dust to your Resort stay. You would have access to advanced itinerary planning and assistance with reserving Dining, Childcare services, and more. Coffee and continental breakfast will be waiting in the lounge in the morning, drinks and snacks throughout the day, and delicious hors d'oeuvres, wine, beer, cordials, and desserts in the evenings. It's the very definition of "Royal" treatment!
That said, since you have a Theme Park View room and the
Disney Dining Plan I do not recommend upgrading to Club Level Concierge unless you forego the Dining Plan. In my opinion, you could not truly enjoy the benefits/offerings of Club Level Concierge and the Disney Dining Plan if you had them both together.
You can always request a room with an unobstructed view of the Theme Park by calling Disney Resort Hotel Reservations at (407)939-1936. There are no guarantees, but Cast Members always do their best to accommodate Guests requests.
I hope this information helps. Please visit us again if you have any additional vacation planning questions!
Magical Wishes,
Susan
