Staying at GF in late Nov. have castle reservation for 8am. Monorail begins 1 hr before park and boat 45 min. These aren’t early enough. What do you suggest? Need to go early. Park opens 9 that day. Hate to take van since we are at Gf for close to park.

    Hi Joan,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is one of my favorite resorts!

Since we typically stay at one of the resorts with access to the resort monorail and we generally have a few pre-park opening dining reservations, we are always concerned about early morning transportation. On our last visit, the resort monorail started running as early as 7:00 a.m. Remember that guests can enter Magic Kingdom one hour prior to park opening to enjoy Main Street, U.S.A. and see the Let the Magic Begin show. So, I think you will be able to use the resort monorail to get to Magic Kingdom for your reservation at Cinderella's Royal Table. When you arrive, just check with a cast member at your resort hotel to get the resort monorail hours of operation for the day of your reservation!

Joan, another option would be to use the Minnie Van™ Service. For additional information, check out this Disney Parks Blog article, Minnie Van Service Now Open to All Visiting Walt Disney World Resort. On our last visit, when we had a pre-park opening dining reservation at Magic Kingdom at 8:00 a.m., we arrived by 7:30 a.m. After we checked in with a cast member, we waited in a line to the far left at the entrance. They allowed us into the park at 7:45 a.m. On our way to the restaurant, we took a few pictures because the park was nearly empty!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
    Donyell
