We're staying at the GF in December, I thought I read that we now go through park security as we enter the monorail at the resorts along the monorail and not at the MK park entrance? Is that correct? Thank you.

Hi Sarah,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How wonderful to be staying at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa during the holiday season. You will smell the wonderful gingerbread house every time you walk through the lobby!

You are correct that you will go through a security checkpoint before you board the monorail at the Grand Floridian. They have put security checkpoints at all of the resorts served by the monorail. I think it's wonderful and makes your arrival at Magic Kingdom Park just a bit more magical!
