Staying at the GF in Dec. DH and I are quite highly caffeine dependent. Is there real brewed coffee at the quick service rest- ie worth refillable mugs? and what system is used for the coffee maker in the room. How is the quality of coffee in room?

    Hi Rhonda!

Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel!

I love my coffee too, so can totally understand your need for information about the coffee on offer.

In my opinion, the coffee available at the refill stations is very nice, but it is not "real brewed coffee".  It is very drinkable though, and I frequently refill my mug with this coffee!    As for the coffee machines available in the resort guest rooms - my fellow panelist Malanie gives a very informative answer to your question - I have provided the link here.

Another website I would recommend is www.allears.net.  They have a really good listing of the best places to find coffee all around Walt Disney World Resort, and I recommend you have a look.  There are several restaurants at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort that are mentioned.    You will find the coffee list under "Dining", "Restaurant Info", "Real Coffee - where to find it".

My favourite coffee while I am at Walt Disney World is to be found at Ghirardelli's, at Downtown Disney - I always try to make several visits there, during my stay!

If you have any other questions, please come back and ask me - I would be happy to help you plan your magical vacation!
