Hi moms! Staying at gf club level 1st wk in feb so excited! Worried bout the monorail closure. Mom in scooter and toddler in stroller. Paying $ to be on mono ya know. Will the boats accomadate a scooter? Planning to take a break everyday wanna limit bus us

    Hi Stephanie ~

Your trip is just around the corner and I bet you're too excited to sleep already!  Club Level at the Grand Floridian sounds fabulous!

When we stayed at the Grand Floridian, the boats that went between the Grand Floridian and the Magic Kingdom would not accommodate an ECV.  We even had to fold our son's special needs stroller to board the boat because they are just too small to accommodate them.

The monorail closures should only take place during weekdays during non-peak hours. If your trip spans a weekend, you should be able to take the monorail on weekend days.  There should also be additional buses during the closures.

While the buses may not be quite as convenient as the monorail, routine maintenance is just something that has to happen.  They do try to plan it so that it minimally impacts as few Guests as possible.  If you have any specific concerns, I'd suggest discussing them with the Concierge when you arrive to check-in to see if there are some other ways they may possibly be able to assist you.

Please feel free to visit us with all of your planning questions. We'll be hEAR for you up until you embark on your pixie dusted trail!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
