Mom and Daughter at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort Room

    We are staying at the GF and have a 7 am Chef Mickey reservation on 6/20/13. What is the easiest way to get there that time in the am?

    Hi there Phyllis!

    How lovely that you'll be staying at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort this June! You're sure to have a magical time!

    The Resort Monorail begins it's daily operation during the month of June at 7am.
    With the Contemporary Resort being just 2 short stops away, you'll find the journey to take about 10 minutes. I realize this doesn't help you to get there 'on time' however you can rest assured that your reservation will still be waiting for you, and you'll be seated at the first available table for your party size after you've arrived and checked in at Chef Mickey's. Since the location opens for its first seating at 7am, you'll find that it may take a few extra minutes anyhow for all parties to become seated since you won't be the only ones with an early check-in. You may wish to consider calling Disney Dining Reservations at (407) WDW-DINE to try and adjust your reservation time to 7:15am or even 7:30am to allow for convenient, travel time.

    If you're unable to do so, and would like to ensure a timely arrival at Chef Mickey's, your best option would be to hail a taxi that particular morning. Simply head outside the resort lobby on the lower level and advise a Concierge Cast Member that you need to get to Chef Mickey's for a breakfast reservation. They'll arrange the rest for you and have your party heading off in a jiffy!
