We are staying in a Garden Wing Garden View room at the Contemporary Dec. 26 - 31. Can you see the fireworks from the Garden Wing and do you have any suggestions for room requests since we will have three children- 4, 2, and 1? Thanks

    Hello Cindy,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I love staying at Disney's Contemporary Resort. There is nothing like the convenience of taking a nice walk right over to Magic Kingdom Park or coming back to the room for an afternoon break.

While you may not have a clear view of the fireworks show from your room in the Garden Wing, these rooms are wonderful.

When our boys were small, we had a double stroller so we requested a ground floor room. Not having to deal with elevators was such an unexpected perk! We had a lovely patio and with a view of Bay Lake, could enjoy the Electrical Water Pageant float by in the evenings.

Many of the Garden Wing rooms surround the pool, so that is a possible location request you could make. Cast Members can't guarantee you will receive your requests, but in my experience they do their best to accommodate you within your room type.

I hope you love Disney's Contemporary Resort as much as we do! I think you will find it to be very convenient for your family.

Please let us know if you have any other questions, Cindy. Wishing you a magical vacation!
