    We are staying in a garden view room at the GF in September. Any recommendations on a building or room we should request? Also, is there good meal counter service at GF we shouldn't miss?

    Hello Barbara!

    In my opinion, you can not go wrong with any room at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.  Garden View rooms are lovely as the grounds of the resort are perfectly manicured.  You are welcome to request certain buildings, although requests are not guaranteed.  If you are interested in being close to the pools and sandy area, Big Pine Key is a popular request.  As far as counter service dining, Gasparilla Island Grill is open 24 hours a day.  The selections are varied and it is located near the marina.  I also happen to enjoy the quick service dining option at the main pool.  The Beach Pool offers a variety of items, and the pool or water view while dining is so relaxing.  Have fun, Barbara!
