    We will be staying at FWCG or the Floridan, April 2018, haven't decided. My question is I know about the daycare for my 10 lb dog and that she can stay in the camper. I didn't know about the Floridan?

    Hi Evon! If you are planning on traveling with your four legged family member to Walt Disney World then the only way he/she can stay with you is in your camper at Fort Wilderness Campgrounds . Pets are only allowed in this location unless they are certified service dogs. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times outside of the camper and they must not be a nuisance with barking etc whether they are inside or out. 

    We come often and bring our two dogs and love the campgrounds. There are pet walking areas and a dog run where you can let them off leash to interact with other dogs if you wish.

    If you choose to stay in another of the Disney resorts you can book a room for your pet at Best Friends Pet Care. This is both a boarding and a day care pet facility located on property and just around the corner from Fort Wilderness and across the street from Port Orleans Riverside. The facilities are amazing and we use it often when we must get home for a few days. Guests are encouraged to come every day to play in the play yard with their pet while they are staying at Disney. This gives the pet a feeling of love from its owners while it allows the owners to know they are doing just fine.
