Staying at FW. ? about transportation...if we go to MK/HS we take bus to Settlement Depot and get bus from there (or boat to MK) and if we want to go to EP/AK we take bus to Outpost Depot and then get bus from there? Usually drive but flying this time. thx

    Hi Dawn!

This is a great question.  To get to the Magic Kingdom, you take the internal bus to the Settlement Depot and then take a boat to the Magic Kingdom.  To get to anywhere else, you take the internal bus to the Outpost Depot on the edge of Fort Wilderness and then switch to a bus going to where you want to go.

My family and I just spent a week at Fort Wilderness and we all absolutely loved it.  We especially enjoyed getting around via a golf cart.  I recommend considering renting one during your stay!

Enjoy planning your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation, and please write back with more questions!
