We are staying at FW and have reservations at Cape May Cafe at 10:20 and then reservations at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in in downtown disney! Time wise is this even possible? If so, what is best way?

    Adam:

To be honest, Cape May and Downtown Disney on the same day is a bit of a stretch, but doable if you don't mind the transfers and your reservation at BBB is in the early afternoon, as you'll want to give yourself at least 1 1/2 hours for your brunch...

Cape May Cafe is at the Beach Club.  The easiest way to get there depends on where you're staying on the Fort Wilderness campus, in my opinion.....If you're camping near the pier, consider taking the boat from the fort to the Magic Kingdom and then hopping on the Beach Club bus outside of the Magic Kingdom.  But if you're in a cabin at the fort, go to the Outpost and take a bus to Disney Studios and then the boat to the Beach Club.  I'd give yourself a good hour (if not an hour and 15 minutes when you're dealing with boats) for the transfer.....

From the Beach Club to Downtown Disney is easy.  You'll just hop on a bus to DD from Beach Club.  Once you're at Downtown Disney you'll be able to return to Fort Wilderness.

Since you did come for our opinion, if I were in your shoes, I think I'd schedule these on two different days.  Enjoy Cape May on a day when you're visiting Disney Studios or Epcot, and visit BBB on a day when your child can show off her new "do" at say, Magic Kingdom, for the afternoon and evening parade.  Just a thought.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
