staying at fw and want to know which cabin is closest to the boat to mk? arriving 6oct14. we have never stayed at fw and are worried about the transportation. thanks

As they sometimes say in the wilderness 'Howdy Michelle!'
The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort are absolutely fabulous! I just know you're going to love staying in these home sweet home abodes during your October vacation to Walt Disney World Resort.
My family and I enjoy staying at The Fort (as the many loyally returning Guests call it!) and have never encountered any issues with the internal Disney Transportation; so please don't go worrying about that any more!
Cabin location requests can be made by speaking with a Cast Member at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort on 407 824 2900 around one week prior to check-in.  Please remember requests cannot be guaranteed, but rest assured that Cast Members will do their utmost to accommodate you and your lovely families needs where possible.
Personally, I recommend requesting a Cabin on loop 2100 - Heron Hollow for both location and convenience.
For your added information the loops nearest the Marina are for camping and RV use only.
If I can help you further plan your upcoming October 2014 vacation to Walt Disney World Resort please pop back to ask me another question.
    Have a great Disney day.
