Howdy Myriam! Welcome back to
planDisney. Thanks for moseying on by with your question. I'd be happy to assist you today; you've got a friend in me!
Spending our nation's birthday at
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground sounds like a blast! At this time, the Pioneer Hall Players are on hiatus and the
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue is still unavailable. I suggest following the
Disney Parks Blog and
Disney Resort Hotel experience updates page as your trip approaches to monitor any potential changes. This show is a perennial favorite in my family, and we can't wait for this rootin' tootin' hilarious offering to return to its regularly scheduled performances!
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground hasn't released its 4th of July activity schedule yet, but last fall Guests with reservations over October 31 received an e-mail notification with details about Halloween festivities, such as a golf cart and campsite decorating contest, pumpkin scavenger hunt, and pumpkin decorating. I spoke with a Cast Member down at the ranch who shared with me that this notice went out about a week before Halloween last year, and he anticipated Guests with 4th of July bookings would receive similar communication as the holiday approaches. I also recommend checking the
Disney Parks Blog and
social media for updates and reviewing the
recreation schedule when you arrive.
I hope this is helpful, Myriam! It sounds like you might have to stay tuned just a bit longer for exact details as to what activities will be available during your stay. Thanks for stopping by planDisney, and we can't wait to welcome you home to pioneer paradise real soon!
