Staying in FW Cabins. We want to save $ on dining, but I don't want to spend alot of time preparing meals. Is it possible to get a crock pot from the resort or would I need to purchase my own at the grocery store on the way?

    Hi Jacqueline,

Fort Wilderness is a wonderful resort to call home on your Walt Disney World Vacation.  The property is filled with so many fantastic activities and special events (Hoop De Doo Revue, Mickey's Backyard BBQ, Chip n' Dale's Campfire and Sing Along, fishing excursions and bicycle rentals to name just a few) that you almost don't need to leave to visit the parks!  I said, "almost"!

The kitchens in the cabins are fully equipped with dishes, cookware and utensils.  There is a microwave, oven and stovetop available for you to prepare meals for your family.  The cabins do not have crockpots, however, so if you were interested in using one on your trip, you should bring one along or can pick one up at a local store.

Have a wonderful trip to the Fort!
