    We are staying at FW Cabins with my MIL who uses a scooter. We have early ADR in MK. The one boat that can take her scooter begins 1/2 hr before MK opens, and our ADR's are an hr before park opens. How do we get there on time if there is no bus to MK?

    Hi Mary!

    This is an absolutely great question and although I spend much of my Disney time at the Fort Wilderness Campground Resort, your question had me stumped. So I sent out some calls and emails to get the correct answer for you and your mother in law.

    As soon as you get on one of the internal Fort Wilderness buses to head down to the main transport area you will need to tell this driver that you will need a bus to reach the Magic Kingdom for your early dining reservation. This driver will then notify the Disney transportation dispatcher. Either this driver or another one will then be given permission to deviate from his/her route and transport you to the Magic Kingdom. Please give yourself plenty of time because this is not a usual route and procedure and it is hard to tell you how long this trip would take. Always give yourself more time then you might think it necessary.

    As always Disney will not let any guest be stranded and not able to reach their destination for whatever reason. It is the pixie dust of Mickey that makes every Disney vacation very special!
