We will be staying at the Frontierland Resort. We will arrive via RV early on the morning of January 16 (the first day of our pass). I understand check-in time is 3:00 in the afternoon. Can we go ahead and check in and receive our passes for the parks?

    Dena:

    Hello to a fellow Mississippian!

I'm assuming that you are staying at Fort Wilderness with your RV, as it houses the campsites on Disney property.  And good news: check-in at the fort is 1 p.m., earlier than the hotels on property.

If this is correct and you are staying at the fort and arrive before your campsite is ready, you can check-in and park your RV in the parking lot (we prefer the overflow lot for its spaciousness).  You'll be given your park passes at check-in and can hop on one of the buses right there at the Outpost to go to Disney's Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, or Epcot. Or you can take one of the internal buses to the pier to get on the boat launch for the Magic Kingdom.

You'll be given a card with a phone number to call after 1 p.m. that will tell you your campsite.  When you get back from the parks, you can drive straight there to set up!

Our family loves to camp at Fort Wilderness. If you have any more questions about it, feel free to visit me via my bio page!

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Whitney, Mississippi

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
