Hi there, Priya!
You're going to love staying at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter! There is just one bus depot near the front lobby with
complementary transportation to the Theme Parks. You can even take a boat ride to Downtown Disney! The buses will drop you off near the main entrances of the 4 major Theme Parks and both Water Parks, but they don't go inside of any of the Parks. There are countless ways to travel all over Walt Disney World property!
I'll give you a couple examples. If you're spending the morning at Disney's Hollywood Studios and you want to go to Epcot for the afternoon/evening, you can take a boat right over to the World Showcase entrance of Epcot. Let's say you're at Magic Kingdom Park and you want to head to Epcot. Just take the monorail over to the Transportation and Ticket Center
where you can switch to the Epcot monorail. I love arriving at Epcot via the monorail! You'll find that the bus transportation doesn't travel between Resort
hotels, so if you want to go from one Resort to another, you'll need to
go to one of the Theme Parks or Downtown Disney first. Your quickest method of travel from your Resort to the 4 major Theme Parks will always be to take the bus direct. I like to play with a tool called Transportation Wizard on OurLaughingPlace.com. You can select just about any location to travel to and from and the tool will provide you with all the different options as well as how long each will take. Give it a try!
Thanks for stopping by the Moms Panel with your question and please let us know if we can help with any others. I hope you and your family have lots of fun using the buses, monorails and boats, Priya!
Wishing you a Pixie Dusted vacation!
