Hi, there!
Joanne, I'm so pleased to hear you'll be visiting the
Walt Disney World Resort this Spring. Magic will be in full bloom!
When my family is planning a Disney vacation, a reservation at
Sanaa is a top priority. We discovered this hidden gem a few years ago, and it quickly became our most favorite restaurant at the Walt Disney World Resort! The only thing better than the incredible food is the amazing view you'll have of the Sunset Savanna from your table. I know you'll have a fabulous dining experience there!
Getting to Sanaa from a Resort hotel other than Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge can be a little tricky. My family usually pays for transportation to get to our dining reservation. We used to call a taxi, but now we use
Disney's Minnie Van Service! The convenience of the direct drive is well worth the cost of the trip. After our meal, we always hop on a bus from Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village to Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. From there we can catch a bus back to our Resort hotel.
Your current plan to travel from Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter to Disney Springs is a great idea! I prefer taking the ferryboat to Disney Springs from that Resort hotel, but a cruise down the peaceful Sassagoula River does take a bit more time than a bus ride. I would allow 60-90 minutes for travel time to your reservation at Sanaa if you plan on making a connection along the way. If you use the Minnie Van Service, you'll only need to allow for 30 minutes of travel time.
Thanks for stopping by, Joanne. Please visit us again soon with any new questions you may have!
