I am staying at the French Quarter beginning 10/06/25. Is there renovations going on at that time?

    Bonjour, Jane! Welcome to planDisney!

You’ll be enjoying the fun and wonder of Walt Disney World, as well as the charm of old New Orleans, in just a couple of months. How exciting! I’m a big fan of both Port Orleans French Quarter and Port Orleans Riverside. They both feature beautiful, immersive themed decor, excellent pools, and great food options.

I don’t see any information about any upcoming construction projects scheduled for Port Orleans French Quarter. It’s important to keep in mind that not all refurbishment projects and timelines are publicly available, and both are subject to change. However, I think you’ll avoid any major construction projects based info I can find (or what I can’t find). I did spot this Disney Parks Blog post previewing the newly refurbished rooms from May 2025, which will give you an idea of what to expect for your upcoming visit.

You’ve picked a great time to visit Walt Disney World. The spooky season celebrations will be in full swing! You can find all the info on the upcoming shows, treats, and merch at the Disney Parks Blog. I’m especially looking forward to the new Halloween menu at Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar and the Vampire Stitch Cake at the Polynesian Resort.

Jane, I hope you have a fantastic visit to the Port Orleans French Quarter and Walt Disney World. If you have any other questions about your upcoming trip, don’t hesitate to come right back to planDisney. We’re always happy to help!

Laissez les bons temps rouler and magical travels!
