Staying at FQ-Spritit of Aloha @ 5:15 on Tue, 10/23/12 - can we park at Magic Kingdom & take monorail to Polynesian? What time should we leave FQ to get to Polynesian by 4:45 pm? Will monorail still be running by the time we're done in order to get bac

    Hi Robin!!!

Yes, you could drive and park at the Transportation and Ticket Center and then take the Resort Monorail one stop to Disney's Polynesian Resort.  Once you were finished eating at the Spirit of Aloha show, the Monorail would be able to take you back around to the Transportation and Ticket Center to get to your vehicle.  You could also walk to the Transportation and Ticket Center.  It is only about a 10 minute walk.  If you decided to go this route, I would leave Disney's Port Orleans - French Quarter at about 4:00pm.

You could also take the Magic Kingdom Bus from the French Quarter.  Once at the Magic Kingdom you would take the Resort Monorail around to Disney's Polynesian Resort.  You could also take a Water Taxi from the Magic Kingdom to Disney's Polynesian Resort.  After your dinner, you could take the Monorail or Water Taxi back to the Magic Kingdom to catch the bus back to the French Quarter.  If you decided to do this route, I would recommend leaving your resort around 3:30-3:45 to allow you some wait time for the bus.  I, personally, would pick this route just so you don't have to worry about driving your own vehicle.

Please let me know if you have any other questions!!

    Have a magical trip!!
