Hiya, Lucie-beth! Welcome to planDisney - so glad you found us. It sounds like you'll be headed to
Walt Disney World Resort this fall from across the pond (hooray!), and I'll be happy to lend a helping hand to make your vacation smooth sailing.
Any Guest staying in an off-property hotel may purchase
Lightning Lane passes starting 3 days before their first park visit. These are an add-on to regular theme park admission that allow you to access attractions through a dedicated queue with shorter wait times. This includes
Lightning Lane Premier Pass, which allows Guests to select a date to visit
all eligible attractions in a single park once on that date. You do need to have date-based tickets linked to your
My Disney Experience account, and you'll be able to book for up to 21 days at that time.
From our family's experience, the Premier Pass is most helpful in
Magic Kingdom Park, where there are a lot of attractions and experiences and it can be difficult to fit them into one day. For the other theme parks, using a combination of
Lightning Lane Multi Pass and
Single Pass will usually let you visit everything you want to. Because you have a longer vacation planned, you'll also have some additional opportunities to experience everything that the parks have to offer!
Pricing for the Premier Pass varies by park and by date, and can range from roughly $129 to $449 per person, per day (subject to change). The Cast Member I spoke with suggested reaching out via
phone so that you can get a more accurate estimate, based on your travel plans.
Lucie-beth, I hope this information is helpful for your planning purposes! Thank you so much for visiting planDisney, and come see us again anytime if we can help with other details for your October trip. We're always here to help!
See Ya Real Soon!
Susan
