Hello there Triana, and welcome to planDisney!
I hope you're getting excited about your upcoming trip this June at the
Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort; I can already smell the grills firing up and imagine the sounds of families laughing together from their sites amidst the trees. Though some folks may really lean towards spending their vacation relaxing, I've observed that there are also Disney guests who are interested in maintaining their gym routine amidst the time they spend at the theme parks!
Now you might have heard that in the past, guests may have had access to various
fitness centers or health clubs at other Disney Resort Hotels who may have offered limited day passes but this isn't an offering that is available any longer. I spoke with the Cast Members working
at the closest fitness location to the campgrounds and they confirmed that according to their official policies only registered guests staying at accommodations whose amenities include a gym or fitness center can use them. (During our most recent stay at Disney's Wilderness Lodge we had to scan our
MagicBands to gain entry each time.) Unfortunately at the current time, guests staying at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort are not eligible to use the gym facilities at other Disney Resort Hotels; instead, the Cast Member I spoke with recommended
taking advantage of the pools as well as
the recreational activities available in order to remain active during your stay.
You may have luck venturing out to the
Health Clubs found at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels to inquire with the staff there directly, since they operate with differing policies from the Disney Resort Hotels and currently honor resort day passes purchased through various third-party operators.
Wishing you all the best on your quest to work out during the day while you camp out by night!
